Pacific Formwork is a leading provider of formwork services, based in Canberra. We work closely with builders to achieve their vision, with a focus on maintaining our reputation as a leader in quality, safety and environment within our field.
Our experience spans general residential, complex high rise developments, hospitals, educational facilities, treatment plants, warehouses, civil infrastructure projects, and more.
What we do
We have an office in Canberra and yards across regional NSW. We’re proud of our long history providing formwork services to the building industry, led by a team with over 100 years’ collective experience in formwork and building.
We’re known for our flexible and reliable approach, and are supported by our hardworking staff and contractors who operate on site to complete projects for our clients.
We also manufacture our own certified metal formwork systems and steel decking (Pacdeck) which are used in projects with outstanding success.

Our safety record speaks for itself. Our people are our highest priority, and we have built a reputation for our commitment to protecting them and others on site as we go about our work. We also invest in the latest, quality gear to ensure our team is equipped with everything they need to be safe and efficient.
Respect for the environment is integral to the way we manage our business. We believe in recycling materials until they reach end of life, and proactively invest in the latest formwork methods to reduce our consumption of new materials wherever possible.
Our business was built off the back of constant referrals and repeat work from happy clients. Our commitment to quality is as strong today as it was back in 1998 – drawing on the skills and experience of our people to deliver the best possible result for every project, every time.
We see our clients as part of the Pacific Formwork family, and work closely with them to find the most effective way to achieve their goals. We also treat every employee and contractor as family, and do what we can to help them realise their career aspirations.
Pacific Formwork is proud to support the communities we operate in. We have a long history of contributing to local fundraisers and valuable causes — such as being regular sponsors of local sporting teams and community groups, including Monaro Panthers and the Canberra Portuguese Association.
Our Story
We began as a small family business in 1998, providing formwork services in Canberra and Sydney. Over the years, our team has grown to over 150 staff and contractors. We’ve been privileged to work on major projects in the ACT and across the eastern seaboard – from Falls Creek in Victoria to Gladstone in Queensland, and from Eden on the South Coast to regional Dubbo.
While we may have grown, we’re still a family business with a very close team. We value genuine, honest and hardworking people, and are proud of the strong relationships we’ve built with our clients over the years.
